Georgia DRIVES Project Receives Top Honors in the 2020 Technology Innovation Showcase

The Georgia DRIVES (Driver Record and Integrated Vehicle Enterprise System) project was selected to receive top honors in the 2020 Technology Innovation Showcase. The DRIVES project implemented FastDS, Fast Enterprises’ commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) application, that was configured to meet the business requirements of both the Department of Revenue and the Department of Driver Services. With DRIVES, both agencies have an application that can be supported by internal staff and a platform that provides technological and cost-saving advances, making the legacy mainframe platform a relic of the past.
