Camp Code

Learn about our FREE coding camp for 8th, 9th, and 10th grade girls!

WHAT

This free one-week camp is designed for girls entering the 8th, 9th, and 10th grade to spark their interest in pursuing future careers in the STEM fields.

Participants take part in a variety of educational coding games and activities led by experienced female software developers. Camp Code introduces participants to a variety of women in technology and explore the diverse opportunities available to women who code.

WHO

Girls interested in software programming (coding) who will be in the 8th, 9th, and 10th grade.

As a technology company, FAST recognizes that there is a lack of women in technology fields. We’re hosting this camp with the hope of introducing girls to the opportunities available to them in those fields. We’re offering this camp to rising ninth graders, who are at an age where they will be making education decisions that may guide them into technology-oriented fields.

  • Additionally, registered campers and/or their parents will receive two confirmation emails, at approximately 3 months and 1 month before the camp. You will be required to respond to these emails to confirm the camper's spot in the session.

CAMPER SUPPORT

For In-Person Camps:
If you require assistance with transportation or lunch due to financial hardship, please indicate that on your registration form and a Camp Code representative will contact you with details.

For Remote Camp:
Detailed home technology requirements will be provided after registration. FAST will work with each family on a case-by-case basis to ensure all campers have access to both a suitable computing device and high-speed internet.
